On October 4, family, friends, faculty, and staff gathered at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia to celebrate 鈥檚 Class of 2025.

More than 300 students attended the ceremony. Executive Director and Campus Dean Irene Young, Ed.D., welcomed the guests and graduates.

In her remarks, Young reflected on the new alumni鈥檚 journey at 色界吧 and their futures. 鈥淚n your time here, you have experienced an education that is more than just lectures and textbooks. You鈥檝e been immersed in real-world challenges, engaged in critical thinking, and honed your ability to adapt,鈥 she said. 鈥淵ou are leaving here with much more than a degree. You leave with the confidence to lead and the knowledge your ideas matter.鈥

President Jerry Balentine, D.O., who was in attendance, offered these remarks to the graduates: 鈥淵our experience here will help guide others, and I call on you to reach a hand back to those who are behind you to do the same for them that people did for you. This is how we continue to reinvent the future together. I know all of you will be successful whichever way you define success, and I am excited to see and hear where your paths will take you.鈥

One of the greatest gifts has been learning alongside classmates from so many different nationalities and backgrounds. Each conversation, each collaboration gave me a new perspective. Not just in business but in life itself. It reminded me that education is not confined to textbooks or classrooms. It鈥檚 the exchange of ideas, cultures, and experiences that shape us into global citizens.鈥
