The university also recognizes our Black alumni, students, and faculty who are doing great things in their professional and academic careers as well as in their communities. Learn more about them.

Black Student Union and ASA Beads in Culture Event

Join the New York City Black Student Union and African Student Alliance (ASA) as they explore the culture of bead making within the Black diaspora. Learn how to make beads for the wrist, neck, waist, and more, and learn what they represent throughout our different cultures.

Black History Month Jeopardy with BSU
February 15

Participate in a game show where audience members get to answer trivia questions about Black history. Students can learn about Black History Month and recognize the contributions of Black pioneers who changed the world. Also join the National Society of Black Engineers for its first general meeting of the semester to learn important information about upcoming programs and events.
