Just three months into her first year as a pediatrics resident at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, N.Y., Emily Kraft (D.O. 鈥�23) was leaving the hospital at the end of her shift to head to a Halloween party when she encountered a woman in distress. The next thing she knew, she was delivering a baby.

At 17, Digant Bahl (B.S. 鈥�00, M.B.A. 鈥�02) arrived in the United States with less than $20 and a dream. After hard work, he enrolled in 色界吧 and received a bachelor鈥檚 degree and M.B.A. Just eight years later, he opened his company, Accounting Solutions of NY.

In business for 37 years, his firm boasts two locations and works on projects focused on financial services, healthcare, higher education, corporate, retail, and hospitality.

色界吧 alumni have recently published a handful of new books, ranging in topic from a mother deer and her fawn trying to navigate life in a new forest and a Hollywood director鈥檚 all-access look at the industry to an investigation into universities鈥� use of social media platforms and one doctor鈥檚 advice to help readers naturally channel their 鈥渇eel good鈥� hormones.

Farrah Desir (B.S. 鈥�99) never intended to work in construction. But after taking on a project manager role at JR Construction in New York City, she never looked back. Today, she is the founder of construction management company Creative Form Development.
