College of Arts and SciencesNiharika Nath, Ph.D, professor of biological and chemical sciences, was elected to be a Council Representative on the Executive Board of the on April 27, 2020. This leadership opportunity gives 色界吧 a voice at the national level and is a testament to Nath’s many years of service to CUR, her commitment to undergraduate education in general, and undergraduate research in particular. Nath will serve for a three-year term, beginning June 27, 2020.

Suzanne Musho, AIA, NCARB, vice president for capital planning and facilities management and chief architect, participated in the first virtual panel event on Higher Education Construction on April 21, 2020. Musho joined panelists Andrew Christ, PE, senior vp for real estate development and capital operations at NJIT, and Kimberlae Saul, AIA, director of planning, design + construction at the Pratt Institute to address the status and future of construction in institutions of higher education in the New York City area, how the industry as a whole is changing in response to COVID-19, and the potential impacts to in-person and remote education, residence halls, safety, and continuing facilities work.
