Steven Shapiro

Steven Shapiro, Ph.D., professor of finance, was a panelist at a National Association of Forensic Economics session on Alex Morgan, et al. vs. the United States Soccer Association at the 2021 Allied Social Science Associations Annual Meeting, held remotely on January 3, 2021. Shapiro and the other panelists discussed the measurement of damages resulting from alleged sex discrimination against the members of the United States Women鈥檚 National Team.

Viswanathan Rajagopalan, Ph.D., associate professor of biomedical sciences at NYITCOM-Arkansas, was elected as a of the American Physiological Society (APS), on March 18, 2021. APS is a community of scientists devoted to expanding knowledge related to biological function, founded in 1887.

Batu Chalise

College of Engineering & Computing Sciences | Electrical & Computer Engineering

Batu K. Chalise, Ph.D., assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, and his postdoctoral research fellow, Sudarshan Guruacharya, have published an article entitled, “,” in IEEE Transactions Signal Processing (impact factor 5.230, 2019), vol. 69, 573 - 588, 2021, on December 14, 2020. The research associated with this article was funded by Air Force Research Laboratory.

Wenjia Li

College of Engineering & Computing Sciences | Computer Science

Wenjia Li, Ph.D., associate professor of computer science, published an article entitled in IEEE Internet of Things Journal (2020 SCI Impact Factor: 9.936) on December 14, 2020. This research work is co-authored with Chenyue Zhang, a 色界吧 master's student he is currently advising, and two other colleagues from universities in China. In this research, the emerging blockchain technology and the deep learning algorithm are both applied to help evaluate the trust of vehicles in a more accurate and efficient manner.
