Colleen Kirk

School of Management

Colleen P. Kirk, D.P.S., associate professor of marketing, was nominated as a finalist for two awards by the American Marketing Association/Marketing Science Institute for her paper entitled on March 10, 2022. The two awards Kirk was nominated for are: the H. Paul Root Award, which is given to a paper published in the Journal of Marketing that has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the practice of marketing in a calendar year, and the Shelby D. Hunt/Harold H. Maynard Award, which recognizes the Journal of Marketing article that makes the most significant contribution to marketing theory and thought within the calendar year. The paper was co-authored with Joann Peck, Andrea Luangrath, and Suzanne Shu.

Jordan Thompson, J.D., deputy general counsel and privacy officer, was a panelist at , on March 9, 2022. The topic of discussion was Computer Forensics in the Era of the Cloud.

Charles Pavia

College of Osteopathic Medicine

Charles Pavia, Ph.D., associate professor of biomedical sciences, published his article titled in Frontiers in Public Health, on March 9, 2022. The article explores the primary reasons, as well as the historical connection, behind the anti-COVID-19 vaccine movement, and proposes several possible and realistic interventions that could be implemented to counter this notion and significantly improve vaccine acceptance, especially among young people.

Real Estate Development and Sustainable Capital Planning

Suzanne Musho, AIA, NCARB, vice president for real estate development and sustainable capital planning and chief architect, was among a dozen prominent professionals named during the New York Build 2022 Expo on March 2-3, 2022, at the Javits Center in New York City. The event attracted more than 2,000 industry members, 250+ exhibitors, and 300 speakers on topics ranging from sustainable best practices, technology, and designing for the future.

Kate E. O'Hara

College of Arts and Sciences

Kate E. O鈥橦ara, Ph.D., associate professor of interdisciplinary studies, presented "Theory into Practice: Implementing a Humanistic Approach" at the in Savannah, Georgia, on March 1, 2022. In her interactive presentation, O鈥橦ara shared details of instructional design for implementing a humanistic approach that provides undergraduate students with opportunities for learning about subject matter that is of personal interest and applicable to the "real world," fostering students' desire to learn while teaching them how to learn, as well as tips on how to design meaningful holistic, project-based instructional activities within fully online and hybrid environments.

Briana Bronchick

Strategic Communications

Briana Bronchick, director of marketing, was featured in a case study titled in which 色界吧 was highlighted for using Hulu鈥檚 new ad management tool to enhance awareness and drive registrations to virtual Open House events, on February 22, 2022. Briana was one of the first users of this tool, which allowed us to be very targeted in reaching our primary audiences of prospective students and parents through the streaming TV space.
