Becky Frieden, senior director of enterprise applications and decision support systems, conceived and organized the NorthEast Regional Computing Program's (NERCOMP) first event in Norwood, Mass., on May 3, 2023. The daylong event helped attendees understand data management strategy and gave them the tools to develop such strategies themselves.

Francine Glazer, Ph.D., associate provost for educational innovation and director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, was a featured expert at a "conversation and dinner" on May 2, 2023, held at Il Buco Alimentari in New York City. Glazer spoke about ensuring that students from low-income and underserved communities aren鈥檛 hindered by a lack of access to technology.
