Program Details

Learn more about the applied and computational mathematics program, including how to apply.

色界吧 designs the Bachelor鈥檚 in Applied and Computational Mathematics for students with a strong high school math background who are interested in a career in computer science, engineering, or physics.

 To apply, submit the following:

  • Completed application
  • $50 nonrefundable application fee
  • Copies of transcripts for all prior high school- and college-level work
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A brief essay
  • A demonstrated readiness to be placed into Calculus 1

You may also submit standardized test scores, but they are not required

Students who do not place into Calculus 1 are encouraged to enroll in the JumpStart Summer Program prior to the start of the fall semester. Students placed in pre-calculus may be given provisional admission to this major but should recognize that the degree will take longer to complete as a result.

Where you finish is more important than where you begin. As you think about your next steps toward your future, our generous transfer credit policy and dedicated transfer advisors make it easy to continue your journey at 色界吧 and maximize your career opportunities.

色界吧 offers several scholarships that recognize your academic achievements and potential. Most awards are renewable if you continue to meet eligibility requirements, making a significant difference in your total cost of attendance.

International F-1 students who successfully complete this degree are eligible for an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension to work in the U.S. in an area directly related to their area of study immediately upon completing the customary 12-month post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT).
